Corrections policy
Requesting a correction
Email info@wpaffiliateblog.com with the article title, the passage in question, and what you believe the accurate position to be. Anyone may request a correction — readers, subjects of an article, and contributors themselves.
We acknowledge correction requests within two business days and put the question to the contributor. Where a factual error is established, we correct it promptly.
How corrections are marked
- Correction. A factual error is fixed in the text and a dated note is appended stating what was changed. We do not silently edit published claims.
- Clarification. Where a passage was accurate but open to being misread, we add a dated note without altering the original wording.
- Retraction. Where an article’s central claim cannot be supported, the piece is withdrawn and replaced with a notice explaining why. Retraction notices stay up.
Right of reply
If you are named in an article and consider its account of your conduct unfair, tell us. Where the concern is substantive, we offer a right of reply published with the piece, or we amend it. We will not remove accurate reporting on request, and we will not publish a reply that makes fresh unsupported claims about a third party.
Withdrawal by a contributor
Contributors may withdraw their own work at any time and for any reason, including a change in their professional circumstances. We remove it without argument and replace it with a short notice that the article was withdrawn at the author’s request.
Undisclosed interests
If we learn that a contributor had a commercial interest in a subject that was not declared at submission, the interest is added to the article, the contributor is asked to account for it, and repeat instances end the affiliation.
Corrections, right-of-reply requests and withdrawal notices: info@wpaffiliateblog.com. Correction requests are read by an editor, not routed to the contributor first.
